Description
From the Bacchus Global Series, which is a range designed to bring traditionally hand crafted instruments to players at the best possible value price. This bass was crafted entirely by hand in Bacchus’s workshop in the Philippines. The workshop is owned and operated by Bacchus Japan, and each luthier is trained Bacchus Japan. They use the same tools and traditional techniques as their Japanese counterparts. The objective is to craft high quality hand made instruments at a lower price point.
The WL433 is a great option for bassists who enjoy using a slightly shorter scale length, at 33″. Featuring a striking See-Through Red finish (with matching red headstock) over Okoume, a tonewood native to the Philippines. This wood is relatively light weight, articulate, and full bodied. The grain looks somewhat like Mahogany, but it is more dense and so brighter. The WL433 features a tone boost push/pull pot and a classic Jazz type configuration.
