Description

One of two very special Surfbreakers, master built by Bacchus for the great Tokyo Guitar Show. A special run of 6 pieces of these Surfbreakers was made for the show. We are very blessed and proud to have secured our two favourites of the run – the Pearl White Matte and the Old Candy Apple Red Matte models.

The Tokyo Guitar Show is the Japanese equivalent of NAMM. If you are viewing this guitar, you will most likely not need the incredible tradition of Japanese guitar making explained to you. So here we have a guitar created to exhibit the pinnacle of Japanese guitar craft. Each one was crafted by a Deviser Master Luthier, from timber selection to final setup, using traditional hand crafting techniques only.

The Surfbreaker is based on a classic offset design. Notice the carved detailing around the edges of the guitar, the tapered heel and individual sunken neck screws, the cool knobs with push/pull switch, and the hand made pickups. The finishes are breathtaking in the flesh.

These guitars are killer,in every respect. When they’re gone, they’re gone.
